Zen Retreat

Zen is not a technique but a life style that is most natural to ones own being. The word zen is derived from Dhyan, which means meditation in India and it was practiced by millions of Buddhists . A great enlightened being Bodhidharma was the first to introduce Dhyan (Meditation) in China and in the far east upto Japan. Zen originally was available for advanced seekers , seekers who wanted to know the truth. So Zen gave an instant wisdom, enlightenment to the one who seeks through many illogical means. Just by a loud shout or just a small gesture where enough to convey the truth. It was through these small gestures that zen monks showed the way to lead life consciously. There were not only gestures but also great techniques to know the ultimate. One such method would be taught in this retreat. We welcome you all to get introduced to the zen life which is one of the most beautiful way to live with onself. Zen is a way of living where one is able to live in their meditation without being distracted by the worldly affairs. It seems so impossible but the practices are so simple, anyone with the right attitude and openness can enjoy their daily life without losing their inner witnessing. Osho a famous enlightened being says “Zen is a religion of future”, because zen practices are so integrated with your day to day life.
